La Serenissima captures the splendour of Venice at its zenith. It opens with the mineral brightness of the Adriatic - sea salt, citrus peel, and olive leaf carried through narrow canals by a briny wind.

At its heart rises the wealth of an empire built on Eastern trade: frankincense, myrrh, orange blossom, cardamom, and saffron glowing like spices unloaded at the Rialto.

The fragrance settles into the dark polish of gondola wood, ambergris, and ancient cedar chests, evoking the secretive salons and shadowed palazzi of a republic ruled by masks, merchants, and mystery.
